Pixbo IBK won the first semi-final at home 13-4 which meant that Florbal Chodov needed a win to take the second semi-final to overtime and have a chance to qualify for the CC final. This did not happen and since Pixbo won the second semi-final as well, they continue to the final against Thorengruppen.

Pixbo IBK made a journey to Prague having won the first match at home. Pixbo and Swiss national team goalkeeper Lara Heini thought in the pre-match interview that the second game against Chodov will be tight and different from the first match in Mölnlycke. And the first period was definitely like that. Karolina Liskovcova started the scoring for Chodov and showed that they are more ready for this game. Unfortunately for them, they were not in the lead for a long time. Isabelle Gerig evened the score and Thea Lofborg took Pixbo in the lead. After first period, the numbers were 1-2 for the away team. Pixbo continued controlling the match in the second period when Cajsa Elm and Emma Stenberg scored one goal each. One big moment for Chodov was the monster save by Jana Christianova, that really saved the team from another goal.

Chodov came one goal closer in the final period when Barbora Lovískova gave the most perfect assist to Nikola Stekerova. The home crowd kept cheering for their team throughout the match and as we know, two-goal difference is not a huge deal in floorball. Chodov still scored one more goal but after that it was time for a Pixbo show. Pixbo finally won the game 3-8 and qualified for the final against Thorengruppen, just like last year. Pixbo also qualified for the final on the Men’s side so the Foxes get a double presentation in the 2025 CC Finals!

The information about the time and location of the final will be published later once known.
