With two wins each, Singapore and Australia have secured their spots for the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2025 in Zurich, Switzerland.

Singapore started their event with a confident 7-2 win against New Zealand and their first line was on fire in this match, Ethan Teoh being the top scorer with a hat-trick and an assist. Australia on the other hand had a hard time against Japan, who kept the pressure high until the end. Final numbers 6-5 for Australia and so the first day of the event was completed.

Singapore continued their winning streak against Japan and final score 11-1 says it all. This time it was Jose Saarainen who scored a hat-trick. Singapore needed Australia to win their game against New Zealand so they could confirm their qualification during the same day. And Australia did what they came to do in the Solomon Islands. 8-3 win against New Zealand and regardless of New Zealand really pushing it in the end, it was not enough this time. Travis Richardson with 2+2 and Alexander Skett with 2+1 were the top scorers for the Aussie team. With two wins each, Australia and Singapore secured their qualification spots for the U19 WFC 2025 in Switzerland.

Men’s U19 WFC 2025 AOFC Qualification continues tomorrow with the last two matches when Singapore and Australia meet to decide who takes the first place in this event. Japan and New Zealand will meet in the last game and both teams are trying to end their event on a positive note.
