Returning back to the Czech Republic after 12 years, the Women’s World Floorball Championships will once again take place in Brno and Ostrava in the same venues as the 2013 contest. Qualifications for the 2025 WFC are set to begin next year with the European Qualifications at the end of January.
Similar to the 2023 WFC Qualifications, the 2 European qualification events will take place also in Italy and Latvia. This time at the EUR1 event in Latvia, instead of Koceni, the Valmieras Olympic Centre in Valmiera close by will host the Qualifications. In Italy the same venue (Palazzetto della Sport) in Lignano Sabbiadoro, will also play hosts for the EUR2 event.
In Valmiera at the EUR1 Qualifications the following teams will take part:
Group A:
Sweden
Norway
Germany
Belgium
Austria
Group B:
Finland
Latvia
Estonia
Spain
Great Britain
All the teams will play 4 matches against those in their own group, with the top 3 teams in each group qualifying for the 2025 WFC. Full match schedule available for download below.

In Italy and Lignano Sabbiadoro, there will also be two groups but with only 4 teams in each group and a slightly different playing system:
Group A:
Switzerland
Denmark
Hungary
Netherlands
Group B:
Slovakia
Poland
Italy
France
All the teams will play 3 matches against those in their own group, before going into a playoff against the teams in the same group finishing position from the other group (E.g. 1st vs 1st etc.). Top 2 in each group plus the winner of the 5th place match qualify for the WFC 2025. Full match schedule available for download below.
