Canada will be hosting both the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2025 AMER Qualification and The World Games Women’s AMER Qualification in Fredericton, New Brunswick from the 2nd to the 4th of August 2024. All team lists have now been published.
Both qualifying events where Canada and the USA will face off will be a best-of-three series for the one North American spot in their respective events.
USA have had an upper hand in the past Women’s and Men’s U19 qualification events. USA Women’s Team played in the latest WFC in Singapore in December and the Men’s U19 Team played in the 2023 U19 World Championships in Frederikshavn in Denmark. Now it is also a chance to make history as The World Games 2025 is the first TWG event including the Women’s floorball category.
