After the 2024 Men’s World Floorball Championships Qualifications in Latvia, a new cycle begins in the French men’s national team. The former Estonian national team captain Roman Pass is the new head coach of the team and former French captain Manaure Russo-Mendoza takes on the position as new assistant coach.
Roman Pass is best known from the Estonian national team. Pass was the captain of the team for eight years and played in 11 World Floorball Championships, latest being the WFC 2022 in Zurich, Switzerland. He is also the player with most matches in the Estonian national team. In addition to his long career in the Estonian national team, Pass has played in the club teams in Finland, Sweden and also in Switzerland, where he coached Unihockey Mitteland and Unihockey Basel Regio successfully.
Manaure Russo-Mendoza has been the captain of Team France for 12 years and he announced his retirement from the national team after the World Floorball Championships Qualifications in Liepaja, Latvia. Russo-Mendoza is the player with most international experience in the national team, having participated in 10 WFC Qualification events.
Kevin Perrin will continue as the Team Manager and Corentin Meisterlin as the physiotherapist, both having been with the national team several months already.
