First Iran Floorball Association 3v3 national championship was played in Tehran, Iran earlier this month.

The first Iran floorball 3v3 national championship took place from the 7th to the 8th of March 2024 in Tehran, Iran. 8 men’s teams from 7 different provinces in the country participated in this tournament. The games were hosted by the city of Tehran and played in the literacy movement organisation arena.

The games were played with the official IFF 3v3 rules and this event was a place to test this model of the game for the first time in the country.

Team Tehran A won gold and team Qom came second, receiving silver medals. In the fight for the bronze medal it was team Ardabil that came out successfully with a win against team Tehran B.

— It was one of the best tournaments ever that has been organised in the country since day one and so many players liked this model of the game as it was much smoother, faster, entertaining and challenging, says Ramezenali Davalo, the IFA President.

In a nutshell, Iran Floorball Association hopes that with the support of domestic and international businesses and corporations, the development of the sport continues in the best way possible with a sustainable approach while trying these new models of the game that can attract more players and audiences to the sport.
