National cup winners have secured their spots in the next edition of Floorball Champions Cup.

All four countries have now held their national cup events and the winners have secured their spots in the 2025 Champions Cup. If the same team will win national league championship and also the national cup event, then the national association decides whether the league or cup runner-up participates to the Champions Cup.

Finland

TPS (Women) & Nokian KrP (Men)

Finland were first to hold their national cup event back in January, taking place in Lahti at the same arena where the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will take place from 8th — 12th May this year. TPS won the Women’s final against Classic and continue their success from previous season winning as many titles as possible.

Nokian KrP won the Men’s cup final against SPV and their long desired title as they have not won the Finnish championship nor the Finnish Cup before. This will be the first time for Nokian KrP to play in Champions Cup and we are looking forward seeing them on the international stage!

Czech Republic

Chodov (Women) & Tatran Stresovice (Men)

Chodov become the Czech Cup Champions for the first time after beating FBC Ostrava 7-0. We will also see them returning to the Champions Cup after their last participation in 2015.

Tatran Stresovice  are returning as reigning Champions Cup winners after winning the Czech Cup final against Chodov. Did you know they were the first Czech team to win the Champions Cup? Now you do. We shall see if they can do it again in 2025.

Switzerland

Kloten-Dietlikon Jets (Women) & Zug United (Men)

What a fantastic Cup final event in Switzerland at the sold out arena in Bern! Kloten-Dietlikon Jets become Swiss Cup Champions for the 11th time and will play in their fourth Champions Cup. They won the Cup final against UHV Skorpion Emmental 4-3 in overtime.

Zug United won their second Swiss Cup and are on their way to their first ever Champions Cup. They beat HC Rychenberg 9-5. And how wouldn’t they make it to the Champions Cup when they have players like Sami Johansson, Albin Sjögren and Nils Schälin in their roster?

Sweden

Thorengruppen IBK (Women) & Pixbo IBK (Men)

Thorengruppen IBK will be back in the Champions Cup after dominating the previous two editions in 2023 and 2024. In the Swedish Cup final they met Pixbo IBK who they beat in the latest Champions Cup final as well.

Pixbo IBK won the Swedish Cup final against IBF Falun and are heading to their second Floorball Champions Cup, previous participation being from 2016 when the event took place in Borås, Sweden. Pixbo had to settle for 4th place but will they be fighting for the title this time?
