The Women’s World Floorball Championships in Singapore was the last event for several players. Amanda Yeap and Yee Yun Shawn (SGP), Weronika Noga (POL) and Alžbeta Ďuríková and Michaela Šponiarová  (SVK) announced their retirement from the national team during the event.

Amanda Yeap and Yee Yun Shawn announced their retirement from the national team after the placement match against Norway. Singapore finished 12th in the event. Shawn began her journey with the national team at 2017 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia and has played in 4 World Championships.  Yeap made her first international appearance at 2015 SEA Games and has since represented Singapore in 5 World Championships. Both players have been key players of Team Singapore since they started their career in the national team.

Weronika Noga was the skipper of her team during the 2023 WFC in Singapore. Poland finished 6th in the event. Noga has represented Poland in 6 World Floorball Championships, starting from 2013 WFC in Brno & Ostrava. She also played twice in the U19 WFC in 2010 & 2012. Noga plays for Zug United in Switzerland and although international career is over, the season in the club team continues as does the trophy hunt.

Alžbeta Ďuríková and Michaela Šponiarová ended their national team careers after claiming the 5th place in Singapore. Team Slovakia also secured their spot in the TWG 2025 in Chendgu, China!

Ďuríková has represented Slovakia in 7 World Floorball Championships and twice in the U19 WFC. Her first appearance in the Women’s WFC happened in 2011, in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Currently Ďuríková plays in FBC Kalmarsund in Sweden where she transferred during previous season. Similar to her fellow teammate also Michaela Šponiarová made her first WFC appearance in 2011. Šponiarová has also played in 7 World Championships and twice in the U19 WFC in 2010 and 2012. Šponiarová continues to be one of the key players in 1. SC Vítkovice.
