The 14th Women’s World Floorball Championships will take place from 2nd — 10th December in Singapore. Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia will play in Group B.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2023?
We are a team that likes to have a lot of the ball and want to play offensively and creatively.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#26 Emelie Wibron, a player who sees all routes, openings and breakthroughs to the net.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
Our team captain #24 Ida Sundberg, who is the queen of the duels and starts the game in a very effective way.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#18 Klara Molin who likes to get into battles for the ball and is a locomotive that works hard in both directions.
Who is your face-off champion?
Here we have many so it will be difficult to select one.
Czech Republic
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2023?
Young and hungry players mixed with quality and experienced players. Together we will be definitely a super strong team. We will play active and fast modern floorball.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#5 Eliška Krupnová – one of the most dangerous players in the world. Great skills, lots of quality and experience.
Also our “Face-off Champion”.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#9 Nela Jiráková – great skills with the ball, offensive game support and also great defending skills. A real 2 way player.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#13 Michaela “Míša” Mechlová – physically well prepared, is not afraid of any duel on the field.
Poland
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2023?
The team is a combination of young and experienced players. The team shows fighting spirit, determination and the players are ready to fight for each other.
The plan for the championship is simple. Play our best floorball and finish as high as possible!

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#8 Dominika Buczek – A very fast striker with a great technique and overview of the field. On top of that she can take the ball on herself and take a shot when needed. If she passes you, you won’t catch up to her anymore.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#44 Weronika Noga – A very experienced and fast defender who can play well in 1-on-1 duels. She can perfectly predict the actions of the opponent. She’s not afraid of hard clashes.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#89 Hanna Samson – One of the most experienced players on the team. She has many tough fights in her career. She can play both offense and defense and not afraid of any challenge or opponent.
Who is your face-off champion?
#8 Dominika Buczek – Fast and smart. This gives her an advantage in faceoffs. If she loses it’s only because she wanted to.
Slovakia
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2023?
We have very young team full of potential and talent which is lead by very energized coach. Expectations are to finish at better place than at last WFC and leave the best possible impression for all our fans and floorball community.

#30 Paulina Hudakova – Insane technique and a very precise shot
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#2 Alzbeta Durikova – Very aggressive in corners and calm with game opening at the same time.

#48 Michaela Sponiarova – because she is definition of a player that is “better to play with than against”
