Sweden won their 6th Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships gold in the 2023 edition in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
After seeing off a spirited display from a Swiss team going in search of their first-ever Men’s U19 world title, Sweden emerged victorious and recaptured the trophy that had eluded them for a decade. Final score 7-4 for Sweden.
Czech Republic and Finland played for bronze. The teams had met already in the group stage when Czech Republic took home the win but this time it was Finland who were better in penalty shots and could celebrate the bronze medal with their enthusiastic fans. Final score 7-6 for Finland after penalty shootout.
