The hosts for the future U19 World Floorball Championships tournaments have been finalised! Switzerland will have the honour in 2025 with the Men’s U19 WFC whilst Italy will organise the Women’s U19 WFC 2026. These selections were confirmed in the central board meeting that took place during the Men’s WFC 2022 in Zurich and Winterthur.

Switzerland are confirmed as hosts for the Men’s U19 WFC in 2025. Swiss Unihockey are fresh off hosting the Men’s WFC in Zurich and Winterthur in 2022 which were very well organised and received amongst team, staff and fans! The only previous time that a Men’s U19 WFC was hosted in Switzerland was back in 2007 in the cities of Kirchberg & Zuchwil. Other major events that Swiss Unihockey has experience in hosting for example are the Women’s WFC in 2019 in Neuchâtel and as said the most recent Men’s WFC 2022 in Zurich and Winterthur.

Italy will host the Women’s U19 WFC 2026 and in doing so will host the first ever major WFC event in their history. Italy have experience hosting many Men’s, Women’s and U19 WFC qualifying events over the past several years and now will make the jump to a major WFC finals tournament. Previous floorball events held in Italy are the 2017 Women’s WFC qualifiers, the 2022 Men’s WFC qualifiers, the 2013, 2017 & 2019 Men’s U19 WFC qualifiers and the 2020 Women’s U19 WFC qualifiers. They will therefore be able to draw on lots of previous floorball event hosting experience in order to make 2026 as successful as possible.
