The Inner Mongolia Hockey Institute signed a contract with the Education Bureau of Yuquan District, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia in June 2022. The two parties took this opportunity to help the pilot schools to train coaches and referees in floorball. Through systematic work, they aim to establish a stable, orderly and long-term youth training system to cultivate and select more and better sports reserve talents for Inner Mongolia.

— We have already done this activity in three kindergartens in the early stage, and three primary schools have also carried out this project this semester. Through this signing, the Inner Mongolia Floorball Institute is planning to promote it in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the area, says Zhang Xiang, head of Sports, Health and Arts Section, Yuquan District Education Bureau, Hohhot City.

Besides the signing ceremony, a 4-day “2022 first floorball coach training class” also started on the same day. China Hockey Association assigned professional lecturers to popularize floorball knowledge for over 60 teachers from primary and secondary school and kindergarten in Yuquan District, Hohhot City. They teached floorball professional skills and rules of the game to lay the foundation for the subsequent development of floorball in Inner Mongolia.
