FINCIS (Finnish Center for Integrity in Sports) participated actively in the World Floorball Championship 2020 in Helsinki. As part of the challenge campaign, FINCIS shared information on clean sports practices at its own information stand for both the audience and the players. The FINCIS information stand was present in both venues.

At the FINCIS stand, people could vote for the Fair Play athlete of the World Championships and test their knowledge of anti-doping matters by answering the WADA Play True Quiz questionnaire. Voters were awarded with reflectors and drinking bottles when taking part in the quiz. An official Finnish team jersey with the autographs of each Finnish team member was also raffled among all the voters. The price went to Satu Pykäläinen, congratulations!

After long a due we finally have the results of the Fair Play athlete voting. Two athletes were voted for, one from the home team and one from the other countries. Most votes for the Finnish team went to the captain Nico Salo. The Latvian Ralfs Orste is the other Fair Play athlete. Both players will receive a prize kit from FINCIS. Congratulations to both!

The IFF is very thankful for FINCIS for their participation and input. Their efforts perfectly fit the FairFloorball campaign to promote the sustainability values of floorball.
