The national federation Côte d’Ivoire Floorball is continously executing the strategic operational plan. In the framework of this implementation it is highly important to include the activity program.

To promote the sport of floorball throughout the national territory is the key factor in the associations popularization policy. Therefore the project Côte d’Ivoire Floorball Tour was created. The main goal consists of encouraging and engaging more people to try floorball. Recently, the first step was launched in the center region, precisely in the capital Yamoussoukro. The kick-off during the last Saturday in September was with workshop led mainly by Professor Hénoc Kouamé, under the supervision of President of Côte d’Ivoire Floorball Marcel Wadja.

The focus for this introduction was set on: explanation of the floorball rules, basic work with the stick and ball handling, explanation of the different areas on the court and the various roles of the athletes. Last but not least, the day was closed with an extensive game within a friendly atmosphere.

— We are proud and very happy with this innovative project. Young people responded overwhelmingly to our call. They adhere to the project and we have noticed many talents. Several tours are planned in the future in various regions of Côte d’Ivoire so that Floorball is a representative discipline throughout the national territory,  said the president Marcel Wadja.
