The last group stage matches of the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2020 were played today in Uppsala, Sweden. On Saturday, it is time for the play-offs, semi-finals and first placement matches.
The two best teams from Group A and B play in the semi-finals. Switzerland won Group A and will meet Sweden(2nd Group B). Finland were placed second in Group A and they will play against Czech Republic (1st Group B). The 3rd placed teams in these groups will play for the fifth place, being Poland and Latvia.
The 4th placed teams in Group A and B, being Russia and Slovakia, will play against each other to determine 7th place. The loser of this match will face the 5th placed team from Group A, Germany. The winner from that game (played on Sunday) will be ranked 8th.
The rest of the placement matches as well as the bronze match and the final will take place on Sunday. The full match schedule can be found here.
