The IFF Referee Committee has nominated five referee pairs from four different countries to the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2020. The committee also nominated Mr. Mika Saastamoinen (FIN) as the Head of the Referees. Ms. Nihada Cenanovic (SWE) is the referee observer in the event.
Tomas Kostinek/Martin Reichelt CZE
Tomas Kostinek, 32 years old, lives in Prague and works in an international company as a technical engineer and project manager. He and his girlfriend have two young daughters. He likes playing badminton and going running which keeps him in shape, otherwise he spends most of his free time with his family. Tomas has been refereeing since 2010 and in the floorball community he is interested in educating referees.
Martin Reichelt also lives in Prague and he has been a referee since 2003 and on a international level since 2009. Martin has been the head of the regional Referee Committee since 2013, covering Prague and Bohemian region in Czech Republic. He has been the regional referee observer since 2009. Martin is a trainee lawyer and according to him, he does not have much free time, but whenever there is any, he likes reading, cycling, watching movies and going to a theatre.
Timo Järvi/Pertti Kirsilä FIN
Timo Järvi, 46, works as a physiotherapist and lives in Lapua, city in Western Finland. He has two kids, a 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl. Timo has been a referee for 18 years, nine years in the national level and an IFF referee since 2017, Kirsilä as his referee pair. His pastime hobbies include golf during summer time and ice swimming during winter.
Pertti Kirsilä lives in Jakobstad in Finland. He is married and has three daughters. His referee career started in 1996. In 2013 he started refereeing in the Finnish women’s league and on a international level in 2017. He works as a Health and Safety representative in a factory producing stainless steel. His hobbies are golf and cross country skiing.
Jörgen Andersson/Olle Eliasson SWE
Jörgen Andersson, 45, lives in Falun and works for the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. He is married and has two daughters. Jörgen has refereed a total of 299 games in the Swedish Super League and four finals. He has international experience for example from the Women’s WFC 2017 played in Bratislava and from SEA Games 2019 that was organised in the Philippines. His hobbies include sports and training. In addition, he is the coach of his daughters’ floorball teams, girls born 07/08.
Olle Eliasson lives in Umeå and he is engaged with Susanne and has two kids, Elliot (9) and Alma (4). He has refereed over 175 games in the SSL and two finals in Sweden, in 2021 and 2017. He actually missed the born of his second child, Alma, when refereeing the final in 2017. Olle was also a referee at Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships in Switzerland in 2018. He works as a mailman in Umeå and his hobbies are sports. He is a big Liverpool FC -fan. During free time he spends time with the kids and goes running or working out.
Mona Franzon/Josefine Hedelind SWE
Mona Franzon lives in Stockholm and she has been a refereeing 27 years in a national and two years in an international level. Mona works as a police officer. During her free time, she works out a lot, doing CrossFit, running or going to the gym. Mona loves hiking. During the summer she was exploring the Swedish highlands up in the north.
Josefine Hedelind lives in Gothenburg. She has been refereeing in Sweden for 16 years and this is her second year as the IFF Referee. Josefine works as a Logistics planner at the HQ for Intersport Sweden. She spends her free time coaching and playing floorball. In addition, she likes going to the gym, play padel and cook. Her best refereeing experience is from the Women’s WFC 2019 when she and Mona whistled the semi-final between Switzerland and Czech Republic, also called “the Miracle of Neuchatel”.
Christian Friemel/Erik Hasselberg SUI
Christian Friemel lives in Ebertswil, small village near Zurich. He is in a relationship and is a dad for three wonderful boys aged 21, 19, and nine years. He has been a national referee since 1996 and referee together with Erik since 2010. He has been the IFF Referee since 2018. The highlight in his referee career was the Swiss Cup final in 2019 and the Swiss Supercup finals in 2018 and 2020 as well as the international referee exchange in the SSL in 2020. Christian works as a Software engineer. His hobbies include mountain biking, race biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, jogging, travelling and cooking.
Erik Hasselberg lives in Thalwil, small city in the agglomeration of Zurich. He has been a national referee since 2008 and has refereed over 50 games at the highest women’s league in Switzerland. In Switzerland, Erik and Christian are the referee pair with the highest age gap. Erik has been the IFF Referee since 2018. Erik shares the same referee highlights with Christian. He works as a (Sports-)journalist and as a history teacher. His hobbies are sailing, snowboarding, jogging, photographing, travelling and cooking.
