Czech Republic win the Men’s U19 WFC gold in front of their home crowd. They beat Finland in the final 4-3. This is the second U19 WFC gold for Czech Republic. They won their first ever WFC gold in the Men’s U19 WFC 2019 in Halifax. 

The final was extremely tight. Alpo Laitila took Finland to the lead just after four seconds after the start. He scored another goal on powerplay in the end of the first period. Matej Havlas scored the first goal for the Czech team in the second period and in the start of the third period, Matej Penicka evened the match. Bohumil Piskacek took the Czech team in the 3-2 lead, for the first time on 50th minute. Finland’s Tatu Havula evened the game but Matej Cermak scored the deciding 4-3 goal and that remained as the final goal of the match.

The goalkeepers Tomas Jurco (CZE) and Juuso Jokisalo (FIN) were elected best players of the final.

Sweden won the bronze match against Switzerland 7-6. The winning goal was scored by Melker Hemmingberg on the 59th minute.
