The 10th anniversary edition of the Ukraine Open was played with a total 16 teams. 15 Ukrainian teams and Koletivs Skujina from Latvia participated in the tournament 2021. 

The participating teams were divided into four groups with four teams. The two best placed teams in each group went to the Men’s Pro Play-offs and team 3rd and 4th placed teams to the Men’s Play-offs.

In the Men’s Pro category the reigning Ukrainian Champions Storm Ternopil reached the final after beating Kyiv Floorball Club in the quarter-final and the newcomer Yuzhny in the semi-final. The other finalist was Skala Melitopol who on their way beat Iceberg Lutsk and Lemberg Lviv both games went to penalty shootouts where Skala Melitopol managed to be stronger.

In the Men’s Pro final Storm Ternopil took control of the game step by step and managed to win with the score 5-3.

In the Men’s final Skif Novyi Rozdil played against Vulkan Rivne where Skif managed to victorious after an intriguing penalty shootout.

— To play this years tournament was an achievement in it self since the last years tournament was cancelled due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Next year we hope to see more teams both Ukrainian and international, says Tamuz Hidir, from the Ukrainian Floorball Federation.
