Floorball Danmark and Gerflor Scandinavia AS have entered into a partnership that makes the internationally recognised company a new official outdoor flooring partner.

Gerflor is one of the world’s leading companies in durable flooring, and the Secretary General for Floorball Denmark, Carsten Provstgaard, rejoices that the association can help set a high standard for outdoor flooring:

— We are delighted to have made an agreement with Gerflor. We have seen what a positive difference an outdoor playing field can make to retaining and attracting new members. I am therefore super happy with the agreement with Gerflor, which gives our associations a competitive price through our partner Floorball Centre and in the long run can make floorball visible in the urban landscape, Mr. Provstgaard says.

The flooring material used for outdoors is the easy to install PowerGame + by SportCourt. The company was founded in 1974 in Salt Lake City, USA, and has been part of Gerflor since 2014. Today, the floors are produced in the USA and France and are the world’s best-selling outdoor sports floor, certified for many different sports. Gerflor is also an IFF partner since 2006.

— I am happy to be able to start a partnership with Floorball Denmark. We have made similar agreements with the Swiss and Swedish federations, and therefore it was obvious to make an agreement with Floorball Denmark as well, Mr.Hans B. Fasmer, Sports manager Nordic – Gerflor, explains.

Another Floorball Denmark partner Floorball Centre will be made a dealer and offers for rinks and floors will soon be sent to the clubs across the country.

The partnership with Gerflor will initially run until the end of 2022.
