The Women’s F-liiga in Finland continues with the play-offs. The quarter-finals will start on Saturday 20th of March. 

SB-Pro won the regular season and got to choose their play-off opponent first. They ended up choosing TPS. Last season, the quarter-finals could not be finished and now SB-Pro and TPS get a new chance to meet in the play-offs.

SSRA was placed second and they chose EräViikingit. EräViikingit secured their spot in the play-offs and in F-liiga during last weekend, when they won the deciding fifth match against SaiPa. PSS chose Koovee and FBC Loisto were left with Classic against whom they lost all their regular season games.

The quarter-finals are played with best of five system so three wins are needed for the semi-finals. Full game schedule available here.

Men’s play-offs

In the Men’s F-liiga play-offs three teams out of four are ready for the semi-finals. Classic, TPS and Oilers all eliminated their opponents in five games. In the fourth quarter-final pair, between Happee and Nokian KrP, the decisive seventh game is played today as both teams have won three matches.
