The second national basic coaching seminar was successfully held in the Danling county situated in the Sichuan Province on 2nd to 6th of December 2020. Sichuan with Chengdu as the capital is an interesting Province in China as it will host The World Games in 2025.
A total of 40 school teachers, sports practitioners and sports enthusiasts participated in the seminar. After four days of training, all the students passed the theoretical and practical assessment and obtained the basic coach of floorball certificate.
– This training course aimed to promote and develop floorball in schools across China and thus encourages youth participation. By holding the seminar in Sichuan it will help to lay the foundation for The World Games in 2025 in Chengdu, says Mr. Guo Xueqi, Head of Event and Referee Department of China Floorball Union.
The seminar was organised jointly by Handball, Hockey, Baseball and Softball Administrative centres of Sichuan and General Administration of Sport of China and co-organised by Meishan Education and Sports Bureau, Danling County People’s Government. The floorball seminar was conducted by Mr. Guo Xueqi, Head of Event and Referee Department of China Floorball Union, and assisted by Mr Li Ji, head of Equipment Department.
