The number of licensed floorball players has been growing in Switzerland. In the end of April, the number was 33,976 which is a new record. 

The number of licenses has increased by 453 compared to the previous year. Especially in the youth sector, the trend is rising: in A, B, C and D junior girls’ as well as C and D junior boys’ categories, more licenses were bought than ever before. Also the Women’s big field category grew. With almost 34,000 licensed players in season 2019/20, the Swiss Floorball Association can report the new peak. And there is a new record not only in the number of licenses, but also in the number of teams. For the first time ever over 2,200 floorball teams registered, namely 2,203.
