The IFF Executive Committee (ExCo) has taken the decision to postpone the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2020 due to the coronavirus situation. The WU19 WFC was originally planned to be played May 6th-10th 2020, but the event is now scheduled to take place September 2nd – 6th 2020, based on the proposal by the Swedish Floorball Federation.

The decision is based on force majeure, due to reasons related to the COVID-19 situation globally. You can find the latest update about the coronavirus situation from the IFF members here.

The Women’s U19 WFC 2020 will be played in the IFU Arena in Uppsala and with the original age limitations included in the invitation.

– The Swedish Floorball Federation, Uppsala Municipality and IFU Arena are very proud of hosting the IFF World Floorball Championships in 2020 and 2021. Because of the the difficult coronavirus situation that we are all currently in, the Swedish Floorball Federation toady proposed to postpone the U19 WFC 2020, says Swedish Floorball Federation Secretary General Göran Harnesk.
