The regular season in the Polish Ekstraliga has been played and the play-off pairs in both Women’s and Men’s league are settled. The play-off round is played in best-of-three format. Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all floorball events including the Women’s and Men’s league play-offs have been cancelled until the end of March.
Women’s Energa Ekstraliga
In the play-offs, the regular season winner Interplastic Olimpia Osowa Gdańsk will face SUS Travel Jedynka Trzebiatów (4), while PKS MOS Zbąszyń (2) will play against MMKS Podhale Nowy Targ (3). For the teams placed 5-8 after the regular round, the season has ended. The most dominant regular-season team was the Polish 2018-19 Champion Olimpia Osowa Gdańsk with a total of 36 points (12 wins and 2 losses). Gdańsk was led by Malwina Zagórska (33+16) and Weronika Grądzka (17+19) while the top scorer of the regular season was Justyna Florczak (44+19) from Podhale Nowy Targ.
Men’s Energa Ekstraliga
13 players scored 20 or more goals in the regular season. In the play-off round the regular season winner KS Górale Nowy Targ will face their eternal rival KS Szarotka Nowy Targ (4) who they defeated in the Super Final just one year ago. The second semi-final will be played between Bankówka Zielonka (2) and Olimpia Łochów (3). KS Górale Nowy Targ finished the regular season with only 2 points ahead of their play-offs opponents placed on the 4th position. Despite the tight top 4, none of the teams went through the first part of the season without a loss. KS Szarotka Nowy Targ (4) scored more goals (156) than any other team in the league while Bankówka Zielonka gave up only 52 goals.

*Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the Polish Ministry of Sports has decided to cancel all mass events until further notice. The Polish Floorball Federation has suspended all the matches until end of March. The Polish Floorball Federation will update this information later, depending on how the situation is developing.
