In the Women’s Salibandyliiga in Finland the eight best teams continue to the quarter-finals. The quarter-final opponents were decided today, Wednesday 11th in Helsinki.
PSS, SB-Pro and EräViikingit from placement series A and Koovee, Classic and TPS from placement series B continue their season in the quarter-finals. Also the relegation winners, SSRA and FBC Loisto continue to quarter-finals. SSRA had to play against O2-Jyväskylä for the spot in NLA and they took the needed three wins to stay in the highest league. FBC Loisto won the NLB and will play in NLA next season, after beating Pelicans SB in the deciding matches.

As the winner of placement series A, PSS could choose first the desired opponent from the placement series B teams placed 2nd or 3rd or from two relegation winners. They decided to face the NLB winner FBC Loisto. After this, SB-Pro and EräViikingit could choose their opponents from the teams left. The reigning champion SB-Pro chose to play against TPS and EräViikingit against Classic. Koovee will play against the team that was not chosen by anyone being SSRA from Oulu.
The team needs three wins to make it to the semi-finals.
