Half of all WFC 2020 final weekend tickets already sold

The tickets sales for the final weekend of the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2020 are off to a good start. The WFC 2020 is still 10 months away, but many sections have already been sold out for the final weekend.

There has also been a lot of interest in VIP tickets and VIP boxes, particularly for the opening weekend and the final weekend.

– We are extremely happy to see that the tournament is arousing interest and that we are receiving ticket-related requests both from Finland and abroad. Ticket sales for the Finnish fan section have progressed at such a pace that we expect the atmosphere in the arena to be better than ever, says WFC 2020 Event Director Hanne Pirkola.

After the WFC qualifications in Europe, when nine teams earned their place in the WFC 2020, there has also been a noticeable increase in requests from abroad.

– After the qualification tournaments, Sweden and Central European countries, in particular, have become active and purchased entire sections for their fan groups for the final weekend. It has already become impossible to fit some large groups into certain sections. Therefore, if you intend to come for the final weekend matches with your team or another larger group, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible, so that we can best ensure that all groups get their desired seating, Pirkola informs.

Preliminary round and semi-finals tickets available after the group ballot

The group ballot for the WFC 2020 will take place at Casino Helsinki on March 10^th2020. After this, the WFC 2020 game schedule will be confirmed, and tickets for the preliminary round and semi-final days will become available in early April.

The group ballot is streamed live on the IFF YouTube channel from 14:30 local time.
