A new average attendance record was set during the Champions Cup 2020 played in Ostrava, Czech Republic, January 11th – 12th. The average CC attendance record is now 1615 per match.
The tournament was attended by 12923 spectators, which gives an average of 1615 per match. The previous average attendance record was from the Champions Cup 2017 in Seinäjoki, Finland. The CC 2017 was attended by 12609 spectators, which gave an average of 1051 per match.
A new single match record was also set earlier in the Men’s CC 2020 semi-final, Storvreta IBK – 1. SV Vitkovice, when there were 2661 spectators at the RT Torax Arena. The previous single match record was from 2017 when 2470 spectators watched the Men’s CC semi-final match, IBF Falun – SPV, at the Seinäjoki Arena in Finland.
