Superfinal 2019 in Poland

The semi-finals are over in Poland and the teams playing in the Superfinal have been decided. The Polish Superfinal is organised on Saturday, 13th of April in Zielonka.

Men’s semi-finals

In the men’s semi-finals, the reigning champion KS Górale Nowy Targ made it to the final this season as well. The team is facing KS Gorący Potok Szarotka Nowy Targ in the final and the fight for the trophy is expected to be a tight one. Both teams have Polish national team players in their rosters like Karol Pelczarski (Górale) and Aleksander Hamrol (Gorący) just to name a few. Olimpia Łochów and MUKS Zielonka will be playing for the third place.

Women’s semi-finals

In the women’s semi-finals, the reigning champion Interplastic Olimpia Osowa Gdańsk took the two necessary wins in the series against KS Górale Nowy Targ. The other serie was more even. MLUKS SUS Travel Jed. Trzebiatów was able to win the first game against MMKS Podhale Nowy Targ, but Podhale Nowy Targ was able to even the series and to win the third match in penalty shootout. This meant that Podhale Nowy Targ secured the spot in the final.
