The regular season 2018-19 is over in Poland and the play-offs have already started. The season’s highlight is the Super Final, which is played on Saturday 13th of April in Zielonka.
In the Women’s Salming Extraliga, Interplastic Olimpia Osowa Gdańsk won the Group A with 33 points. Interplastic Olimpia won the Polish Championship last season and has proven to be a favourite this year as well. The win of Group B went to MMKS Podhale Nowy Targ with 29 points. The quarter-finals have already been played, and four teams continue to the semi-finals. The other four teams will decide the placements from 5th to 8th.
The semi-finals and placement matches are played with best of three system.

In the Men’s Salming Extraliga, KS Górale Nowy Targ was the strongest team in Group A, MUKS Zielonka dominated the Group B and I LO UKS Floorball Gorzów Wielkopolski was number one in Group C. Last season’s top three teams, meaning KS Górale Nowy Targ, MUKS Zielonka and KS Gorący Potok Szarotka Nowy Targ have been strong this season as well and those teams are also the favourites to make it to the final.
Eight teams made it to the quarter-finals and those are played with best of three system. TKKF Jadberg Pioneer Tychy, TLU Kala-Izolacje Toruń, ULS Józefina, UKS Prus Żary and KS Wejherowo continue to placement matches. In the placement matches, each team faces each team once.
