Play-offs 2019 in Czech Republic

The regular season is over in the top leagues in Czech Republic. In both the Men’s Tipsport Superliga and Women’s Extraliga Zen the play-offs kick off this Saturday.

Men’s play-offs

In the Men’s Tipsport Superliga, the top four teams are close to each other, with points varying from 60 to 63. Boleslav won the regular season with 63 points, and the Czech Cup winner ACEMA Spart Praha is second with also 63 points. Fat Pipe Florbal Chodov gained 61 points during the season and got the third place. Vitkovice is fourth with 60 points.

The top eight teams will play in the play-offs and the four bottom teams will face the play-outs. The play-offs and play-outs are played with a best of seven system. First two play-off rounds are taking place on Saturday and Sunday this week.

Boleslav – Otrokovice
Sparta – Bohemians
Chodov – Ostrava
Vitkovice – Stresovice

Play-out pairs:
TJ Sokol Královské Vinohrady – TJ Znojmo LAUFEN CZ
Bulldogs Brno – Sokol Pardubice

Women’s play-offs

Vitkovice won the regular season in the Women’s Extraleague Zen with 61 points. The team also played in this year’s Champions Cup, ending up second after IKSU. In the Women’s Extraleague, Chodov was second with 60 points and the Czech Cup winner Ostrava was third. The top eight teams will play in the play-offs and the four bottom teams will play in the play-outs. Like in the Men’s play-offs, the Women’s play-offs will begin on Saturday and are played with a best of seven system. The first round of play-outs is played on 9th of March.
