The 13th of May was a busy floorball day in Shanghai, China as a floorball coaching seminar was held as well as the finals of the Oriental Cup Floorball League.
4th Level-1 Floorball Coaching Seminar of China Floorball Federation Successfully Completed
On May 13, the 4th Level-1 Floorball Coaching Seminar of China Floorball Federation was successfully concluded. A number of trainees have completed the training of Level-1 coaches and obtained the CFF certificate of Level-1 Coach jointly recognized by the IFF and the CFF.
Great End of the 2017/2018 Oriental Cup Floorball League in Shanghai, China
On May 13, 2018, the first “2017/2018 Oriental Cup Floorball League” came to a close. The Oriental Cup was organised by the Sport100 Co., LTD., co-organised by Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Donghua University, and with the guidance from China Floorball Federation.
The Oriental Cup Floorball League´s aim is to improve the overall level of Chinese floorball teams, expand the development of the sport, and to encourage the development of the social floorball clubs in China. This was the first year the Oriental Cup Floorball League was organised. The organizing committee invited the top six teams in mainland China and allowed foreign players’ participation to these club teams in order to improve the overall competitive level of the league. The league started on January 13 and more than 150 players have been playing for five months, with 10 rounds of 35 exciting matches.
After the regular season, the playoffs and finals were held on 13th of May, 2018. At the Award Ceremony, representative of Asian and Oceanian Floorball Confederation Mr. Jason Choo and representatives of China Floorball Federation presented awards to these extraordinary players and the champion.

Maimaitijiang Mutalifu from team USST secured MVP and Top Goal Scorer. He was awarded with floorball equipment respectively sponsored by Unihoc, Exel and Oxdog.
Zhou Quan from team Yilin was awarded the Top Assist Scorer with floorball equipment sponsored by Oxdog.
Zhao Shuxuan from team DHU was named as the Best Goalie with the award of goalie equipment sponsored by Exel.
Joy Zhou was named as the Best Referee with an award of a professional sport whistle.
Some prizes were also raffled among the audience.
