In the second period the defence of both teams was doing an excellent work and potential scoring chances were rather rare. Still Wiler-Ersigen were able to decrease the score to 2-1. In the third period Köniz were showing their best floorball. In their own end they kept on blocking the shots and passes and last but not least their goalkeeper Patrick Eder was also on top of his game. In the offensive end they showed ice-cold efficiency as they began to score goal after goal. Soon the score was already 5-1 for Köniz. Wiler-Ersigen were able to score right at the end of the match, but it didn’t bring them much consolation. Köniz celebrated their well-deserved first ever national championship title.
