In the Swiss top league, NLA, the Men´s and Women´s regular season is over and the play-offs begin already in the upcoming weekend.

In the Men’s NLA the reigning champion as well as last season’s regular season winner SV Wiler-Ersigen won the regular season with 54 points. Up next were Floorball Köniz who improved from last season’s 6th place after the regular season. Tigers Langnau and Grasshopper Club Zurich also got the home advantage by placing 3rd and 4th.
Whereas Kloten-Bulach Jets made it to the play-offs last season, this season they are holding the last place and with the other bottom four teams will face the play-outs.
Play-Off pairs:
Floorball Köniz – Zug United
Tigers Langnau – HC Rychenberg Winterthur
Grasshopper Club Zürich – UHC Alligator Malans
SV Wiler-Ersigen – UHC Uster
The Men’s play-offs will be played with a best of seven system and the first matches will be played this Sunday.

In the Women’s NLA the league consisted of ten teams this season compared to the previous seasons’ eight teams. The current silver medallist piranha chur took the first place with 50 points but the reigning champion UHC Dietlikon were only few points behind. Wizards Bern Burgdorf and R.A. Rychenberg Winterthur were up next and also got the home advantage for the play-offs. Whereas the top 8 will be playing the play-offs, the bottom two are facing the play-outs.

piranha chur – UH Red Lions Frauenfeld
R.A. Rychenberg Winterthur – Skorpion Emmental Zollbrück
UHC Dietlikon – Aergera Giffers
The Women’s play-offs will be played with a best of five system and the first matches will be played 3rd of March.
