The first The World Games for Floorball will be played in the end of July in Wroclaw Poland. The IFF Referee Committee has nominated the referees for the tournament.
– Of course The World Games are a huge event not only for us, but for all sports participating and we are really excited to be part of The World Games. We also wanted to have a lot of experience from the referee´s side in the tournament, says Mr. Veli Halonen from the IFF office.
– I know that many of our top international referees would have wanted to be in our first “Olympic” games, but unfortunately we can´t have them all there. This time the IFF Referee Committee decided to nominate these referees, he continued.
The nominated referees are:
Mikko Alakare / Vesa Vilkki FIN
Martins Gross / Martins Larinovs LAT
Glenn Boström / Håkan Söderman SWE
