Finnish Superfinal was played last Saturday at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. Classic was triumphant in both Men and Women and will be seen in the Champions Cup 2017 in Seinäjoki.

Women’s Superfinal
In the Women’s Superfinal Classic faced SB-Pro. SB-Pro were the first to score after nine minutes, but Classic evened the score before the end of the first period. SB-Pro played rather defensively as they fore checked low. Despite their good defence, Classic put the ball in the net three times in the second period. At the start of the third period, Classic’s Alisa Pöllänen took her team already to a 5-1 lead. Elina Kujala from SB-Pro decreased the score to 5-2, but no more goals were seen in the match. This means that Classic won all their league matches, including the Superfinal and became Champions.

Men’s Superfinal
Classic played against EräViikingit in the Men’s Superfinal in Finland. Classic were the first to score after four minutes had been played. After the active first period the score was 3-3. In the second period Classic were more efficient and led the match already 8-4 after 40 minutes. At the start of the third period, EräViikingit decreased the score to 8-5, but Classic made their ninth goal just twenty seconds later. The match ended 9-6 as EräViikingit’s Miko Kailiala score a penalty shot. Classic celebrated Superfinal victory for the second time in a row.
