The first tournament for Men was held in Iran in the beginning of March. Elections for the Men’s national team were held at the same time.
Five teams participated in the first Men’s tournament, which was held in Arak, Iran 8-10.3.2017. Team Tehran with the total of 7 points became the champion, Team Tabriz came second and Team Zanjan came third.
The tournament was visited by Mr. Ramezanali Davalo the President of Iran Floorball Association (IFA), Mr. Mohsen Ghafari head of sport and youth office of Markazi province and Mohammad Moradi the head of sport associations of Markazi province, who honoured the best teams by trophies, medals and certificates.

During this tournament Mr. Ali Bazyar was elected as the Head of the floorball committee in the Markazi province on behalf of Mr. Davalo. And also IFA promised to help them in the development of floorball in Arak city.
26 players were invited to a practice camp for the Men’s World Floorball Championships (WFC), Asia-Oceania Qualifications and AOFC CUP in Thailand, 2017.
