Today we saw a totally different kind of Sveiva than yesterday. MFBC Grimma had no chance for victory against the Norwegian side as Sveiva was one step ahead already from the beginning.

MFBC Grimma-Sveiva IB 1-11 (0-3, 0-3, 1-5)

Diana Isjomina show was going on in the first period. The Sveiva forward was all the time dangerous in Grimma’s side of the field and she scored the two first goals of the game. Grimma had difficulties to get their own game in order and opening the game was hard under Sveiva’s hard pressure. The Leipzig club was forced to let one more goal in when Anette Marie Berg shot the ball to the net four minutes before the first intermission.

In the second period Grimma improved their game and could keep the ball for longer periods of time. Despite this they were unable to create good scoring chances and Sveiva was really dangerous in their counter attacks. With them the Norwegian side scored three more goals. Diana Isjomina continued gathering points since she scored once and assisted one goal. The game looked better for Grimma than the first period but again the score was 3-0 for Sveiva and total score 6-0 in the second intermission.

Grimma started the third period well by scoring 6-1 after 17 seconds of play. After that Grimma tried and tried and got some chances to decrease the score even more but Sveiva was just too strong. Sveiva played well for the whole 60 minutes and earned the victory with a clear 11-1 result in the end.

Diana Isjomina shot 4+2 points and was the best player of the game. Lena-Marie Lubker scored the only goal of the German team.
