September´s International weekend was played September 8th – 11th but Men´s U19 international matches were already played before that in the Netherlands and Italy. September´s Internationals included the 6th Polish Open, the traditional FIN-SWE Challenge, U19 matches and Women´s matches.
6th Polish Open 2016: Men (Wroclaw, Poland)
Six men´s national teams took part in the Polish Open 2016 which was held in Wroclaw, Poland 9-11.09. Group A included Finland, Germany and Norway and Group B included Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Finland was victorious as they didn´t lose a single match. They defeated Czech Republic 4-3 in the final and won gold. Norway and Slovakia met in the bronze match, where Norway was stronger by numbers 9-2.

Finland v Sweden: Men & Women (Umeå, Sweden & Vantaa, Finland)
The traditional FIN-SWE Challenge was played last week. Sweden was stronger and won the tournament with numbers 7-2. In the FIN-SWE Challenge a team gets two points for a match win, one point for a draw and one extra point for winning the penalty shootout competition, which is held after each match.
