The EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh) is the championship tournament for European national club champions outside of those in Champions Cup and the EuroFloorball Cup. In 2016, a total of 8 teams have registered, with 4 men´s teams and 4 women´s teams. The winners of EFCh will qualify directly to EuroFloorball Cup 2017.

Four men’s teams will participate in the 2016 EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh). French IFK Paris already has a lot of international experience. They have participated in four EuroFloorball Cup Qualifications (EFCQ) and have once made their way to the EuroFloorball Cup (EFC) where they came sixth.
For Hungarian team Phoenix Fireball and Italian team FBC Bozen this is the first international tournament that is hosted by the International Floorball Federation (IFF). Dunai Krokodilik SE from Hungary has taken part in the previous EFCQs. In their last EFCQ in 2011 the team came fourth.

IFK Paris
Oldest floorball club in France. IFK Paris was established in 1989 and has 5 national league titles in the 12-year-history of the French floorball league. They are a motivated and experienced team that will come to the EFCh with the objective to qualify for the EFC 2017.
Players to watch:
Vojtech Slaby: Strong, fast and energetic defender. Look for him behind the opponent´s net.
Sylvain Dupuis: Veteran of the team, all time goal scoring leader in France.
Joakim Nilsson: Food connoisseur and sweep shot artist, the personification of French-Swedish perfection.

Phoenix Fireball
Hungarian Phoenix Fireball are coming to the EFCh with high expectations. After the perfect season they had, as they won all of their 18 matches, they’re aiming for the gold. They dominated the Hungarian league last season, and they want to show their talent and potential to the international floorball people.
Players to watch:
Erik Hotz: Young, talented goalkeeper who has already gained plenty of experience. He was chosen as the best goalkeeper of the 2015 U19 World Championship B-Division in Helsingborg, with an exceptional 87% saving rate.
Szilárd Harangozó: Works a lot in both defense and attack. During the last 3 seasons he has scored approximately 150 goals and has been the top scorer of the league each season.
Zoltán Rési: Fast, young, spectacular. Shows amazing moves on the rink, including tricks and unexpected passes. Is also dangerous in front of the opponent´s net.

Dunai Krokodilok SE
Dunai Krokodilok SE had a disappointing season. The Hungarian team finished fourth when the past three seasons before they had won the title. The EFCh is a great opportunity to get the team back on track and they aim to win four matches.
Players to watch:
Norbert Ressely: Top scorer who started as the promising, young player and became the best player of the team.
Gergő Varga: Skilled player who can score from anywhere, even behind the goal.
Tamás Hoffmann: One of the brightest young players in the nation who is an important player in the U19 team.

FBC Bozen
Italian team FBC Bozen are a five-time Italian champions. They regained their title this season and have been one of the top teams in Italy for a long time.
Players to watch:
Tobias Mores: All-around forward who is useful on both power play and penalty kill.
Olivier Schneider:  Technically skilled goalkeeper.
Mirko Accorsi: Young and hungry player with good scoring ability.
