The EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh) is the championship tournament for European national club champions outside of those in Champions Cup and the EuroFloorball Cup. In 2016, a total of 8 teams have registered, with 4 men´s teams and 4 women´s teams. The winners of EFCh will qualify directly to EuroFloorball Cup 2017.

Four women´s teams will take part in the first EFCh. For the Hungarian team Neumann Pillangok and the French team Lyon FC, this is the first international event organised by the International Floorball Federation. Both teams are the reigning champions in their country.
Phoenix Fireball from Hungary took part in the EuroFloorball Cup (EFC) Qualifications last time in 2011. Spain´s reigning champions CDE El Valle participated in the last year´s EFC and came sixth.

Phoenix Fireball:
Phoenix Fireball from Hungary are a quite young team. They have a few international experiences, but aim to play good floorball and evolve throughout the EFCh.
Players to watch:
Hotz Evelin: Most accomplished player of the team. Supports the team on and off the field.
Rácz Anna: Young and talented goalkeeper who can decide matches with her great saves.
Stipsicz Orsolya: Despite her young age, plays a key role in defense. Is also a great help in attacks.

CDE El Valle:
CDE El Valle are a young team that is eager to learn. The Spanish team are very excited about the EFCh and aim to make it to the final round.
Players to watch:
Nieves Ballesteros Suarez: Experienced player and a team captain with a lot of energy. Leads the team always with maximum motivation.
Maria Alonso Lopez-Zuazo: Excellent player with great shots and gives everything for the team.
Patricia Amores Puhl: Great goalkeeper with beautiful saves and is always trying her best.

Lyon Floorball Club:
The French Lyon Floorball Club turns 10 years in 2016! They won their first national title in women’s this year and are also participating in an IFF event for the first time. Their goal is to do their best in every game and to maximize the experience.
Players to watch:
Pauline Meneust: Gifted and a fast forward with an accurate shot.
Christel Lévrier: Powerful scorer with a great fighting spirit.
Hélène Coullon: Skilled forward who is able to give unexpected passes

Neumann Pillangok:
Hungarian team Neumann Pillangók were established 3 years ago by a group of friends. Due to the team’s origin they love to play for each other and for the win as well. Despite of having a short team list, the team’s main goal is to win first place, no matter what.
Players to watch:
Suszták Nóra: Fast player who has excellent technique and good understanding of the game. Combining these abilities with her experience makes her a constant threat to the enemies.
Kovács Réka: Powerful and ruthless attacker, who never gives up. She can score from anywhere.
Balla Brigitta: Goalkeeper with quick reflexes and fast thinking. Her long precise throws can change matches.
