The deadline of the call for proposals for WADA’s 2017 Social Science Research Grant Programme is approaching. The applicants must submit proposals no later than 18 July 2016 (00:00 GMT).

Applicants, who can be from universities, colleges, small businesses, for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, are asked to submit proposals regarding one of the following three areas:
1. Developing intervention models based on up-to-date research findings
2. The perception of legitimacy of anti-doping rules and organisations and their effect on athletes’ attitudes and buy-in to anti-doping programs
3. Understanding deterrence measures for athlete support personnel

A further explanation of these three areas can be found on WADAGrants, the research Grants application platform.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 18 July 2016 (00:00 GMT). All submissions will be evaluated by external peer reviewers, whose recommendations will then be examined by WADA’s Working Group and Education Committee before being presented to WADA’S Executive Committee for approval.

WADA will notify all applicants of the results in December 2016.
