The International Floorball Federation has invited the Men’s and Women’s Champions from each IFF Member Association in Europe (Top 4-ranked excluded) to the 24th EuroFloorball Cup and the 1st EuroFloorball Challenge.
EuroFloorball Cup (EFC), consisting of 6 teams in each the Men’s and the Women´s tournament will be played in Weissenfels, Germany, 5th – 9th October 2016. The winners of the EFC qualify to Champions Cup 2017.
The following teams are qualified to register:
Men’s EuroFloorball Cup: The Champions of Germany (organiser), Latvia, Norway, Estonia, Russia, and a 2nd team from the organiser.
Women’s EuroFloorball Cup: The Champions of Germany (organiser), Latvia, Russia, Norway, Poland and a 2nd team from the organiser.
EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh) replaces the EFC qualification
This year a maximum of 8 teams each for Men and Women, in ranking order outside the Champions Cup and the EuroFloorball Cup, will be accepted to participate. The tournament will be played in Budapest &/or Erd, Hungary, 24th – 28th August 2016. The winners of the EFCh will qualify directly to EFC 2017.
Participation fees:
EuroFloorball Cup – 2500 CHF
EuroFloorball Challenge – 1000 CHF
The registration and receipt of participation fee payment must be received by the IFF (competition@floorball.org) no later than 24th June 2016. For inquiries about EFC or EFCh contact your National Association or the IFF.
