Innebandymagazinet along with national team coaches and international floorball media, announces every year the world’s best floorball players. The awarded players for 2015 are Rasmus Enström (IBF Falun) and Anna Wijk (KAIS Mora IF) from Sweden.


For the 11th time, the world’s best male floorball player is announced. Rasmus Enström, forward in IBF Falun and the Swedish national team, gets the 2015 award.
– The world´s best award is very big and something I have dreamed of since I was little. I wanted to be like Mika Kohonen or Anders Hellgård. And since there are so many good players in the world, it’s even more of an honor to be mentioned among the best, says Rasmus Enström.

Why Enström?
Rasmus Enström has belonged to the world’s top players for several years and has been the leading player in Falun’s tremendous success. In 2015 he once again showed talent and dominated in most games, both club and national team games. As a captain he lifted the gold trophy for the third time in a row in both Swedish National Championships and Champions Cup.

– Of course it feels incredible. It´s the biggest prize you can get, “best in the world” sounds incredibly cool. I always want to get better and this kind of an award is a sign of success. 2015 was a really good year for me. I play in a great club and national team, and have great players around me, says Anna Wijk.

Why Wijk?
Anna Wijk is the biggest superstar since Emelie Lindström. Her skills and ability to perform at a high level in every game make her unique at the top level. The year 2015 was as close to perfect as you can get with National Championships gold medal, Champions Cup gold medal and World Floorball Championship (WFC) gold medal. In addition, she was named the WFC’s most valuable player and took a place in the All Star Team.
