Pixbo Wallenstam won the men’s regular season in Sweden and earned a place in the Champions Cup 2016.

Out of the 14 teams in the Swedish League eight will play in the play-offs and two teams will face the play-downs.

Pixbo Wallenstam (photo above) won the men’s regular season in Sweden with 60 points and got to choose their quarter-final opponent first from the teams placed 5-8.

The reigning champion IBF Falun (photo on right) was only one point behind and came second. Storvreta came third with 52 points and Växjö IBK came fourth with 46 points.

Mullsjö AIS took the eighth and last place in the play-offs with 39 points. AIK IBF was only two points behind. Gävle GIK came last with 9 points and will face relegation together with Granlo BK.

The quarter-finals will start 10.3 – 11.3. and will be played with a best out of seven system.

Quarter-final pairs:
Falun – Mullsjö AIS (1st match 10.3)
Storvreta – FC Helsingborg (1st match 10.3)
Pixbo Wallenstam – Linköping (1st match 11.3)
Växjö – Dalen (1st match 10.3)

Sweden’s Superfinal will be played in the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm 16.4.
