The International Floorball Federation (IFF) has launched a new floorball equipment support project called Kids with Sticks and will donate 10 packages with sticks and balls.

– We want to support children and give them a chance to feel the joy and benefits that come from sports. At the same time, it’s a good opportunity to develop floorball, says Minna Nurminen IFF Office Assistant Intern who will be in charge of the practical work.

The 10 packages will include 30 sticks (length 70-80 cm) and a total of 30-40 balls each.

– Based on applications the IFF will then choose 10 applicants that we believe would benefit the most from receiving the sticks. We are grateful that the cooperation with UNIHOC gives us the possibility to support youth development projects like this, says IFF Secretary General John Liljelund.

Everyone from around the world can apply for the equipment support packages by filling out the short application form and sending it to office@floorball.org. You can find the application form here.

The applications should be the IFF office at hand latest 4.4.2016. The IFF will inform the winners latest on 22.4.2016 and these projects will also be published on the IFF website.

The Kids with Sticks Project is supported by the IFF Partner UNIHOC.
