The regular season has now also ended in Czech Republic. Both Men’s and Women’s quarter-finals start on March 5th. Fat Pipe Florball Chodov men and 1. SC Vitkovice Oxdog women won the regular season.

Men´s Tipsport Superliga
Fat Pipe Florball Chodov (photo www.ceskyflorbal.cz) played a convincing regular season in the Men’s top league. They gathered 60 points and thus took the first place. Five points behind was last season’s silver medallist Technology Florbal MB. The reigning champion Tatran Omlux Stresovice came fourth with 45 points. Ahead of them, with the same amount of points, was itelligence Bulldogs Brno.
The last four teams will play the play-outs. These teams are FBC ČPP Bystroň Group Ostrava, Sokol Pardubice, TJ Sokol Královské Vinohrady and SK Bivoj Litvínov.
The Men’s first play-off matches will be played 5th of March.

Women´s Extraliga
In the Women’s top league, all the teams in the top three have the same amount of points. These teams are 1. SC Vitkovice Oxdog, current champion FAT PIPE FLORBAL CHODOV and runner-up Herbadent Praha 11 SJM. FbS “pipni.cz” Bohemians came fourth, but already 20 points behind the top three.
Out of the 12 teams, 8 will play in the play-offs and the rest will play in the play-outs. This year the battle to stay over the play-off line was quite even. The teams placed 7-10 were within five points. With only a one point difference to the next team, Tatran Omlux Stresovice was ninth and right behind them was Tempish FBS Olomouc. TJ Sokol Královské Vinohrady and FBK Jičín will also face the play-outs.
The Women’s first play-off matches will also be played 5th of March.

The Czech Superfinal (both Men’s and Women’s) will be played 17.4 in the O2 Arena in Prague.
