There has been an increase in the number of licensed players in Sweden during season 2009/10. The licensed players have increased with 2 000 compared to the previous season.

The total number of licensed players is now 124 659 in Sweden. It is the amount A-licenses, for players that are 17 and older, that has increased with nearly 2 000 licenses. The number of A-licenses is now over 40 000 for the first time in 11 years.
