Over time goal settled the Women´s Cup victory
The score was 1-1 when going into the third period and then Dietlikon seemed to be the team taking home the battle as they were leading with 4-1 with under nine minutes left of the match.
The Red Ants were however able to fight and made a tremendous comeback. The Red Ants risk of taking out the goalkeeper succeeded and resulted in two goals scored within ten seconds, in 58.39 by Daniela Stettler and in 58.49 by Julia Suter. Sandra Dirksen gave the assist to both goals and the score was 4-4.
The Red Ants comeback had given them the momentum and with two minutes played of the overtime Dirksen could find Michaela Kathriner (pictured), whose bouncing ball passed Laura Tomatis in the goal and the Red Ants Rychenberg could celebrate the Swiss Cup victory.
