Latvia lost with 10-1 to Sweden, but that was enough to keep the Latvians in the 3rd place in group A ahead of Norway, and Latvia will play for the 5th place tomorrow. The seven best teams are qualified to the WFC 2011 without qualification. In the B-division Estonia defeated Canada with 12-1.

Sweden was leading with 4-0 already after six minutes and the match was settled. Josefina Eiremo, Victoria Wikström and Emelie Lindström all scored two goals in the match, which ended in a nine goal difference.

– There was no intensity from the opponents´ side for more than five to ten minutes and then their defence backed down. We also became quite passive, but could increase the tempo again later on in the match, the Swedish head coach Jan-Erik Vaara said in innebandy.se´s interview.

A-division semi-finals:
