This North America´s biggest floorball tournament takes place at Toronto´s York University, Keele Campus from Friday 15th May to Sunday 17th May 2009. With a record 51 teams registered, the 2009 Canada Cup is going to be the best yet with players and teams across the continent and Europe.
This is the first time that Canada Cup will host its first all high school division.
Other activities for the families to enjoy during the Canada Cup are:
- Learn to shoot at the world famous Shooting School with Patrik Lnell
- Check out the coolest floorball gear and pick up an official Canada Cup T-Shirt at the Source for Sports booth
- Improve your knowledge of floorball rules at a Floorball Ontario Officiating Clinic
- On Saturday, try the latest video games at the PlayStation booth or get your picture taken with Carlton the Bear, the Toronto Maple Leafs mascot
- Schmooze with the who´s who of floorball at our infamous social events
- Try floorball for yourself at the Source for Sports Rink on Sunday, May 17th from 9:30 to 10 AM during our freestyle session.
- See the two best floorball teams in North America battle for the Canada Cup at the Elite Final on Sunday, May 17th at 3:30 PM
- Check out gravity defying Zorro tricks in between the 1st and the 2nd period of the Finals
- Tune in to Rogers TV on May 23rd at 8 PM to watch the Intermediate and Elite finals
- Admission to the Canada Cup is completely free. All games are played at Tait McKenzie Athletic Centre (York University).
